FAST-GROWING and ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY. Bamboo plant’s (technically grass, not timber) growth period is usually 5 years. Plants are never fertalized as bamboo is extremely resistant to pests, climatic change and disease. There are more than 1000 species in the family. It is one of the fastest growing plant in the world, growing up to 46cm in 24 hours. Some species can reach 31m. The whole plant is usable so there is no waste. REDUCES GLOBAL WARMING. Bamboo plantations absorb more CO2 and produce more oxygen than any other plantation. DURABLE and LONG-LASTING. Bamboo is well-known for its durability. It is harder than concrete and it’s tensile strength is greater than that of steel. That is why bamboo has been the main construction material for centuries (bridges, scaffolding etc.).

Bamboo is the most eco-friendly exotic wooden flooring. Use of bamboo sustains exotic rainforests, no wastes are produced during production and it is very fast-growing. Bamboo is a very hard material: Brinell hardness 4 (oak ca 3,7). STYLE bamboo flooring is no ordinary bamboo flooring because it is made of real future material: bamboo is sliced, the fibers are boiled (extraction of sugars) and then pressed into strips under high pressure. PRESS-BAMBOO is produced this way with Brinell hardness of 9!!! Currently, this is the hardest wooden material in the world! Ca 2,5 times stronger than oak.
